Hello, dear Universe! the endless ocean of incredible complexity built on simple primitives at unimaginable scales, almost everything tingles my brain. I’m trying to understand a little more of it, starting with what feels closest at hand, intelligence.

I’m writing these blog posts and sharing information because, at the frontier of research, there are always new things to unlock, and a lot of big breakthroughs are pieces put together by people who build on the deep understanding of those who came before them. Also, personally, I get to be accountable, and if I can teach it, then I’ve learned it better than I could have just by going through it myself. Teaching is the best way to learn too!

And I want to meet some cool people in the field someday! Putting your work out there is the best way to find people with shared interests. They correct you when you’re wrong, nudge you in new directions, and sometimes take your work further than one person ever could. I’d rather focus on these good parts than the darker corners. It’s a healthier mindset anyway!
